A little more about us....

Jackie Tyrrell Design is an award-winning interior designer and has a passion for good design and personal service. Her clients love her original and practical interior design solutions. 

She will consult at any stage of a building, renovation or decoration in both commercial and residential projects. Her advice on intelligent space planning including electrical and plumbing overlays ensures efficient functioning. She specialises in bespoke curtains, roman blinds and headboards. Her guidance on colour schemes, wallpapers, lighting and furnishings creates the complete look in your home.

Jackie has an extensive collection of lighting, wallpapers and furniture in her Design Studio.

Jackie was a senior lecturer at the Dublin Institute of Design  for eight years. She holds a diploma from the internationally acclaimed RHODEC Design School in interior design

and was awarded an Hons Degree in Interior and Furniture Design from Dublin Institute of Technology.  She completed her Master’s in Professional Practice with Technological University Dublin. 

She is an advocate for Biophilic design, writing articles in Anthology magazine, being interviewed by Dermot Bannon for the Inside Out Home show, and facilitating an introductory course on Biophilic design through DPP Skillnet.

She completed her Master’s thesis on Biophilic design, focusing on the health and economic benefits of adopting its principles and elements into an office environment, post-pandemic.

Her experience embraces interior and graphic design, product branding, and project management.

I’m inspired by original and practical design solutions and love keeping a close eye on the ever-shifting trends and fashion within the industry.
